Since the beginning of 2023, I have successfully conducted several video interviews for the second series of short-format documentaries for the Stratford & District Historical Society, entitled ‘Historically Speaking.’
The first series of ‘Historically Speaking’ was highly successful, even expanded from its original six programs to a final total of ten. While the Covid-19 pandemic had a significant impact on production, we managed to complete one-on-one interviews by adhering to strict safety protocols or conducting them outdoors. Under these challenging circumstances, we were able to finish the four additional programs.
In addition to these new short format documentaries, I am currently involved in the production of a longer-format program titled ‘Under This Roof.’ Moreover, an experimental interactive project is in active development.
During the winter of 2023/2024, my plan is to make significant progress on these projects and arrange for b-roll shooting as weather conditions permit.
